Incredibly Josh has already reached 6 months which is supposed to be when it gets easier. Josh’s parents agree this holds true. Josh is becoming more and more independent and now crawls and pulls himself up without assistance. He communicates with grunts, crys, and screams of excitement. Recent pics…..

Christmas 2008
Josh and Sofia had family stay with us over the holidays. Uncle Jason and soon to be Aunt Angela along with Grandpa Gordon and Suzi. The kids certainly enjoyed all the attention.

New things for Josh
Josh is doing many new things at 4 months. He has started eating solids and playing in the jumparoo. He seems to smile more and more every day and seems to be friendly to everyone. He watches and smiles at Sofia now more than ever.

Making huge improvements
This weekend marks a huge improvement for Josh. We guess he is finally getting big enough to where gas and other annoyances don’t bother him so much. He was all smiles and took good naps this weekend with very few screaming attacks. It was a nice change!

Scare with Josh
We had a little scare with Josh last week when he took a tumble in front of the house. After a super fun family trip to the hospital (more precautionary than anything else), we were assured he is okay. Josh continues to look bigger every day. Today was his 2 month check up and he is still off the chart.

Pics with Daddy
Josh will be 7 weeks old Tuesday. He continues to be fussy but has shown some improvement as of late. Josh moved upstairs to his room tonight which was a major accomplishment for his parent’s sanity. He is sleeping well at night.

Joshua is already 4 weeks
We have found time moves at warp speed now that we have a toddler and an infant to look after. Where does the time go? Josh is 4 weeks old today. He was recently diagnosed with reflux which explains many of his issues with spitting up, not being able to sleep well after eating, and constant fussing. He has medication now and it looks like we are seeing improvement. We hope this passes as it does for many kids. Angie seems to have gotten into a rhythm having both of them at home all day.
Below are pics from the past couple weeks….
Notice how helpful Sofia is while putting together Josh’s room

Josh at a couple weeks
Josh if proving to be somewhat challenging. He sometimes goes all days fussing and wanting to eat, but at other times can take long power naps. Now if we can just figure out how to adjust the power naps to night time we’d be home free! Angie is struggling with a much more difficult recovery but we think she is about to turn the corner. See latest pictures below…

Joshua Arrives
Joshua Ryan Gordon has arrived – all 10lbs 9oz of him. He came out 21.75″ long. Born June 24th at Baylor Dallas. After Angie struggled thru 24 hours of labor without delivery, it became apparent it was best for all involved to have another c-section. Angie worked very hard to try to have Josh naturally, but we think he was just too big to fit where he needed to go. We are at peace with how things turned out as Josh and Angie are both healthy and doing well. Below are some pictures – there will be more to come.
