Sofia & Joshua Gordon Jeff and Angie's tribute to their children

It is summer in Texas and HOT!  We can’t recall it ever getting so hot so early in summer.  It has been 100+ for almost every day since early June.  The kids are enjoying it especially when water is involved.  See pictures below…

May brought back the hot Texas weather which Sofia and Josh both enjoy.  Below are some pictures of water park fun in Allen, TX.  I’ve also included shots of their most recent school recital.  Sofia did well but Josh was a little distracted after sitting down – too many friends to talk to.

Spring is here and so are the bluebonnets – a favorite time of year for getting pictures taken.  Sofia and Josh were not much for posing so we did the best we could.  Enjoy…..

Spring is here.  Sofia and Josh are eager to play outside after the cold winter.  The playground and park are favorites.  Josh has recently moved into the younger primary classroom at their Montessori.  He loves all the new activities to learn from and is doing great.  He also gets to play outside during the same time as Sofia’s older primary class.  Pics below…

Went out to eat for Dad’s birthday and celebrated with Angie’s homemade carrot cake below.  There are some really cute professional pics of Josh and Sofia as well.

Here we are – another new year.  Sofia and Josh seem to have grown so much over the last year.  Josh has become very verbal and social.  Sofia has really taken notice of the world and things around her and asks many new questions daily.  See pics from January below…we had a snow day.

We took Sofia and Josh with us to Rosanna’s house for New Years.  The kids made it past midnight singing, dancing, and playing.  The next day brought naps for all involved.

Towards the end of December family came to Dallas to visit us.  Abuelito Gordon, Suzi, Tio Jason, and Tia Angela.  Josh, Sofia, Mom, and Dad all had 10 days vacation at home.  We took advantage of this time to visit the Dallas Aquarium, Dallas Zoo, and Ft. Worth children’s museum – not to mention Christmas and New Years.  We now look forward to 2011 and wish all the best.

Angie finally broke Jeff down and convinced him to buy a SLR this Christmas.  Jeff admits it does take superior shots…..attached and some random December pictures we took practicing with it.

These were taken in late October.  Josh and Sofia were semi-cooperative, we got some good pictures.

The kids continue to enjoy Montessori school while Mom and Dad continue to work (not quite as enjoyable).
