Spaghetti is GOOD!!!
EXCITED!!!
As parents, it becomes more and more apparent how our lives become busier each year. This moment in time now with our children is precious – it is easy to forget this as life is flashing before our eyes. Life isn’t going to slow down so we must remember to make every moment count.
Sofia is becoming very vocal in both English and Spanish. She still loves the park which is the one thing her parents still can use as leverage when needed
Sofia likes to watch Veggie Tales before bedtime. We have slowly caved into this request and now can’t muster the energy to take it away.Â
Sofia is now in control of her shoes and socks. Any attempt to help with this process results in a sharp “NO!, Sofia do it”
Recently we’ve noticed how well Sofia has been putting together sentences and quickly telling us her thoughts and feelings. Sometimes this is good, sometimes not so good :) ex: “NO!, I don’t want that, Sofia no like it!” This often refers to a meal either of Sofia’s parents have spent much time preparing. See recent pictures….
Josh and Sofia had family stay with us over the holidays. Uncle Jason and soon to be Aunt Angela along with Grandpa Gordon and Suzi. The kids certainly enjoyed all the attention.
It has been wonderful watching Sofia continue to grow and become more independent. The downside is that she likes the word “no” and has decided tantrums are a good way to communicate that she’s upset. We try to correct such situations quickly but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen again in the next 5 minutes. We have to admit it is kind of funny when she tells our 80 lb German Shepherd to sit down and be quiet (and he listens to her). Wonder where she overheard that?
Enjoy the pics below, some are from Halloween.
Our precious little girl is fast becoming independent minded. “No” is a very common word along with the always popular whining when she doesn’t get what she wants. Below are a some pictures including the 2 year birthday bash.
Our friend’s daughter, Molly, was finally able to put pony tails in Sofia’s hair by telling her it looked pretty. Now Sofia asks for pony tails by saying “Sofia pretty!”.
